The Enigma mutation was first observed in a Pe/B+ hybrid, however there are now Enigma-like mutations that have been observed in several other varieties, like Tidal Wave, Uncut PE, Mazatepec, Goldmember, Transkei, and Blue Pulaski.

Enigma mutations differ significantly from "regular" psilocybe cubensis mushrooms, growing a thick, dense clump of mycelium instead of a mushroom fruiting body. It can take several months for Enigma blobs to form, and they increase in potency the longer they are left. They can be grown in a similar fashion to Cubensis (same environment and mediums can be used), and they are ready to harvest when they begin to turn blue.

The HOLY GRAIL Enigma genetic was first observed in an Uncut Penis Envy culture. Uncut Penis Envy is one of the more rare, and one of the highest potency varieties that we offer, which is why it's enigma mutation has been dubbed "The Holy Grail" by our Lab manager. When tested with the PSILO-Q potency testing kit, results were off the chart (well over 2.4% tryptamine content), making HOLY GRAIL the most potent variety that we offer.
